Service Description

Citizen Publishers offers a comprehensive range of publishing-related services, including but not limited to ghostwriting, editing, proofreading, illustration, publishing assistance, and book marketing solutions.

Unless otherwise stated, all services are provided and delivered digitally. Where physical products or materials are included as part of a service package, delivery will be arranged according to the mutually agreed schedule and timeline.

Specific service details, project scope, deliverables, and expectations will be clearly outlined within your individual service agreement or project proposal.

SMS Communication Policy

By providing your telephone number to Citizen Publishers, you expressly consent to receive SMS communications related to your inquiries, ongoing services, account notifications, promotional updates, and other relevant information. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile service provider, and message frequency may vary.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP" to any message received. For additional assistance, reply "HELP" to receive support information.

Citizen Publications does not sell, lease, distribute, or share your phone number or personal information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or lead-generation purposes.

Privacy and Data Protection

Citizen Publishers is committed to safeguarding your privacy and protecting the confidentiality of your personal information. Any data collected through our website, communications, or services is used exclusively for service delivery, project management, and client communication purposes.

All manuscript content, project materials, and personal information provided to us are treated as strictly confidential. We implement appropriate industry-standard security practices and protective measures to help safeguard your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

We will not disclose, sell, distribute, or share your personal information, manuscript content, or creative materials with any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by applicable law.

Communication Standards

Citizen Publishers communicates with clients through various channels, including email, telephone, SMS, and our secure client communication systems.

Our team strives to respond to all client inquiries within 24 to 48 business hours. For urgent matters, clients are encouraged to use designated priority support channels where available.

Clients who choose to receive SMS notifications should be aware that standard messaging and data charges may apply. SMS subscriptions can be cancelled at any time in accordance with our communication policies.

Payment Terms

Payment schedules, pricing structures, and billing arrangements are established and agreed upon within each individual service agreement.

We accept a variety of payment methods, including major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and wire transfers where applicable.

A deposit may be required before work begins on a project. Any remaining balances must be paid according to the milestones, deadlines, or payment schedule outlined in your service agreement.

All financial transactions are processed through secure and encrypted payment systems. Citizen Publications does not retain or store complete payment card information within its systems.

Refund eligibility, conditions, and procedures are defined within the applicable service agreement and may vary depending on project status, completed work, and deliverables provided.

Intellectual Property Rights

Upon receipt of full payment for the agreed services, you retain complete ownership of all original content created specifically for your project, including manuscripts, illustrations, graphics, and custom design materials developed as part of the service.

Unless otherwise restricted by a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or separate written arrangement, Citizen Publishers reserves the right to display completed projects, excerpts, or related materials within its portfolio, marketing materials, or promotional channels as examples of work performed.

Any proprietary templates, frameworks, methodologies, software, resources, tools, or pre-existing materials developed or owned by Citizen Publishers shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the company and are not transferred to the client.

By submitting materials to Citizen Publishers, you represent and warrant that you own the necessary rights to the content provided and that such materials do not violate, infringe upon, or misappropriate any copyright, trademark, intellectual property right, or other legal right belonging to a third party.

Service Information

Comprehensive information regarding project scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and service specifications will be outlined within your customized service agreement before work begins.

Estimated project completion dates are provided in good faith and are subject to change based on factors such as project complexity, client feedback, revision requests, content availability, and communication timelines.

Expedited or rush services may be available for select projects and may be subject to additional fees. Clients interested in accelerated delivery options should discuss availability and pricing with their project representative prior to project commencement.

Citizen Publishers reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue any project that falls outside our area of expertise, conflicts with our professional standards, or violates applicable laws, regulations, or ethical guidelines.

Confidentiality Agreement

Citizen Publishers is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of all client information, project materials, and communications.

All personnel, contractors, editors, designers, writers, and other professionals involved in client projects are required to comply with strict confidentiality obligations and, where applicable, execute Non-Disclosure Agreements to protect client information and intellectual property.

Client records, manuscripts, correspondence, and project-related materials are securely stored and are accessible only to authorized personnel directly involved in the execution and management of the project.

For projects involving sensitive information, proprietary content, or high-profile clients, additional confidentiality agreements and customized non-disclosure documentation may be provided upon request.

Limitation of Liability

Citizen Publishers performs all services with reasonable professional skill, care, and diligence. However, we do not guarantee specific publishing outcomes, commercial success, sales performance, readership growth, media coverage, or market results.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Citizen Publishing’s total liability arising from or related to any service provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific services in question.

Citizen Publications shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business opportunities, revenue, reputation, or anticipated benefits.

Clients are responsible for thoroughly reviewing all deliverables, proofs, drafts, and completed materials during designated review periods and for providing timely feedback regarding any requested revisions or corrections.

Any claims, disputes, or concerns relating to services rendered must be submitted in writing within thirty (30) days following project completion or delivery of the applicable services.

Project Cancellation

Either Citizen Publications or the client may terminate a project agreement by providing written notice in accordance with the terms outlined in the applicable service agreement.

In the event of project cancellation, all completed work and deliverables produced up to the effective cancellation date will be provided to the client where appropriate, and payment for services performed up to that point shall remain due and payable.

Refund requests associated with cancelled projects will be evaluated individually and may depend on factors including project stage, work completed, resources allocated, and contractual obligations already fulfilled.

Citizen Publications reserves the right to suspend or terminate any project immediately if a client engages in fraudulent activity, violates these Terms and Conditions, breaches contractual obligations, or otherwise acts in a manner that interferes with the successful completion of the project.
